Description
Bigger, more complex terrain than Hokkaido.
- Very cool alpine + tree skiing
- Deepest pow ever. Really tried to not stop as speed was mobility/safety.
- People get killed there (one death on either side of our tour). No search and rescue agency — basically body recovery.
- Walkie talkie radios are illegal in Japan. Seriously illegal.
- Knowledgeable guide is a must
